On the streets of New York, the best game is baseball. Michael Arroyo, he’s a very good pitcher, too good. His dream is to make it to the Semi-Junior Pro Leagues. Suspicions arise as to that Michael Arroyo is actually from Cuba (for those who don’t know, Cubans are considered aliens in America unless they’re allowed). Now it’s the last game of the playoffs, the championship. Who knows if they’ll let Michael play or not. This is good for people who love fiction and baseball.

Heat is a great story about a 12-year-old kid who is insane at throwing a baseball. His dream is to go to the Little League World Series. Only one thing, his dad died about 6 months ago. If they find out, he and his team will get disqualified from the Little League World Series. I like this story because it is about sports and is very suspenseful.

I liked this book a lot. It had a good beginning and end, and made you want to keep on reading. It’s about a boy who is pitching on a team and was so good that people doubted he was in the age group, so when they asked for a birth certificate that he didn’t have, he couldn’t play. See what happens when you read Heat.
