This book is about Gabe, a boy who is a foster child. He finally was sent to his uncle named Vermon. His uncle had a heart attack and died. One of Vermon’s friends from a war found his body in the house. He started to send Gabe letters in the mail so that he can make sure he is safe. Read to find out what happens after that.
