Now that the hole in the house is finished, Phoney and Smiley head back to Barrelhaven while Fone Bone stays with Thorn and Grandma Ben. Thorn and Fone start having weird dreams, but Thorn’s seem to reflect more of her past. Grandma knows something that they don’t. Smiley, Luxius, and Phoney are attacked by rat creatures, and their changes of making it to Barrelhaven are slim. Third in the Bone series. [Jackie]
