One novel, ten authors. All different stories told by different people. It was quite confusing to read because it was hard to keep up with everyone. The story revolves around one person, Gee, which is short for George Keane. Gee is Maggie’s and Jason’s grandpa (if you read the book, you can find out about them). Overall it was good! This is a book of many authors – ten, to be exact. This a book about a photographer named Gee, but this is not only his story. It’s the story of grandchildren, prisoners, war survivors, great great grandchildren, a little girl, and many more. All of their stories are in here. And Gee’s dying wish is that his granddaughter and grandson decipher his riddle of a box, seven shells, and some photos.

Amazing, attention-grabbing, mind-boggling all are characteristics of this book. The main character has seen it all as a photographer — it’s his job to document historic events following his journey. The 10 authors of this story did an amazing job capturing the qualities of a modern day hero.
