This book is the best!! The main character – Aislinn – has the ability to see the fey-faeries. She has to live by the rules. They can’t know that she can see them. But there’s a problem: the Summer King wants to have her as his queen. When he finds out she can see, he can act as his normal self. But his mother, the Winter Queen, wants to destroy any girl he falls in love with, ’cause then he will regain his power as king and destroy her. But there’s a twist: Aislinn has a lover already. Aislinn, or Ash, can see Faeries, but they’re not at all like Tinkerbell. They do terrible things to one another, and they would do even worse things if they found out she could see them. Then two of them start following her. She realizes that they won’t go away, and the rules she’s lived by all her life don’t apply anymore. What can she do to make them go away?

I really liked this book. It’s about one girl named Aislinn with a special vision: she can see faeries. Except these faeries aren’t the normal nice faeries who are supposed to do nice things and who are beautiful. They’re real ugly and they try to hide their beauty. They pull on your hair, trip you, kill each other, etc …
Anyway, Aislinn sees them. She tries to hide, but when two faeries start to stalk her, she doesn’t know what to do. She figures out she is their Summer Queen and has to fight off the Winter Queen! How will she do that? Most of all, will she accept being their Summer Queen and leave her human life behind? Read this book and find out!
