This book is about relatives. A girl named Ana is about to deliver the salutatorian speech at her junior high school. Ana’s best friend invites a crowd to Ana’s house for dinner. Ana’s grandparents find a way to share a kitchen. I liked this book.

Ana’s graduation speech was ruined because the water pipe popped. Everyone evacuated to the field. Everything was flooded. But of course Ana kept an eye on her crush Jamie. Ana’s friend Chelsea invited Jamie to go to Ana’s house for dinner. Ana is freaking out about what she is going to wear, what she is going to cook, and especially what to do with her family. She has a multicultural family. Her father is Chinese American and her mother is African American. Her parents are not the problem, it’s her grandparents. Whenever Ana’s family has a family dinner her grandmothers fight. What is Ana going to do with her grandmothers for the dinner? What is Jamie going to think of Ana?

This girl is graduating from middle school and going to high school. It ends up raining inside the sky. Everyone gets wet.

I liked that they got wet. I didn’t like how the girl was overreacting.

This story is about a girl who is graduating. She is nervous about her family coming because they always argue. Her family is made up of different races. I kind of liked the book because she got over the fighting. Her family ends up not fighting.
