This book is incredibly touching. I must admit the end was very shocking and it actually made me cry. This book reflects the emotions of the different views of the different children in the same house. Everyone admires another, though they never truly share it. I love how the sisterly love is so strong. The whole book is just an eye opener. The emotion in this book is overwhelming and I would recommend it to anyone. [Serenetee Love]

This book is about a girl named Kate who has a fatal form of Leukemia, the cancer of the blood. As she lies in the hospital fighting to live, her parents demand that her sister, Anna, donate a kidney to save her sister’s life. However, Anna is sick of being taken to the hospital to give blood, marrow, and cells to her sister. And now they want an entire organ. Anna wanted her sister to live, but she doesn’t want to put her own life at risk by donating.
Anna hires a lawyer to represent her in court, claiming that her parents cannot make her donate a kidney if Anna is unwilling to. The court case rips the family apart, and yet Kate gets sicker and Anna becomes more indecisive. Want to find out what happens to Kate, Anna, and their family? This is a great book. It’s about a girl who is suing her parents because she is tired of helping her sister Kate survive the leukemia that has tormented her since she was 2. Her family is a mess because of her sister’s illness, and Anna is just trying to have the right to decide for herself if she wants to be a donor for Kate. But is this the real reason behind her suing her family, or is there something else …? A very funny and sad book, you should totally read it!!
