It’s about a girl who is suing her parents because she is tired of helping her sister Kate survive the leukemia that has tormented her since she was 2. Her family is a mess because of her sister’s illness, and Anna is just trying to have the right to decide for herself if she wants to be a donor for Kate. But is this the real reason behind her suing her family, or is there something else …? A very funny and sad book, you should totally read it!! :-) This is a great book. It’s about a girl who is suing her parents because she is tired of helping her sister Kate survive the leukemia that has tormented her since she was 2. Anna wanted her sister to live, but she doesn’t want to put her own life at risk by donating. Anna hires a lawyer to represent her in court, claiming that her parents cannot make her donate a kidney if Anna is unwilling to.
