His mother comes in and notices that Jeffrey is losing tons of blood, so Jeffrey is rushed to the hospital. When Steven gets home from school, Jeffrey still isn’t home. So many questions run through Steven’s head. “Is Jeffrey OK?” “Was this my fault?” “Is he dead?!” If you want to know what happens to poor little Jeffrey and Steven’s lives, read this book.
