Dork Diaries 3: Tales from a Not-so-talented Pop Star

Nikki Maxwell is bullied by Makenzie Hollister. She is invited to her enemy Makenzie’s birthday party, and is also selected as chairperson for the Halloween dance. Nikki isn’t doing that well until her secret crush asks her to the dance. She’s asked to do some other things on Halloween night, but things turn out okay in the end. My fave character in this book is Nikki, and my fave scene is the Halloween dance.  [kellystar56]

Nikki signs up for the talent show, and her BFF Zoey and Chloe are in the show. The mean girl Mackenzie made Zoey and Chloe be on her side (the mean side) and Nikki quit the talent show, but she found a band and signed up again … and lost. My favorite characters were Zoey and Chloe and Nikki. My favorite scene was when they were going to make an album.

This was a very good book! I loved Nikki, she is kind of just like me. Her relationships with everyone are hilarious … and it’s just a really good book!

In this book Nikki Maxwell enters the talent show with her friends, but she has some competition: Mackenzie Hollister and her clique, of course! It looks like Mackenzie’s going to try something on Nikki and her friends – but what? I loved this book because of the intriguing story and drawings. That’s why Rachel Renee Russell is one of my favorite authors.

I love it too!! I can’t stand Mackenzie. I know my name is Makenzie but I’m not like her, she is too mean, but Nikki I like, she’s cool.
