Matt talks to him and thinks the man has gone mad. The man says, “Kate would have to see it.” What is “it” and who’s Kate? He finds the answers mostly by accident.

I loved this book! I read it three times already! I highly recommend it to people who like adventure, science, and maybe pirates. [Fried Ice Cream 103]

Meet one of the most amazing families of the world in this story. Dan and Amy have to find all of the clues because somebody had died. This book was very cool with many exciting scenes. It was hard sometimes to find the clues. My favorite characters were Dan and Amy because they had to find the clues. [SR]

There’s a fourteen-year-old boy who’s been a slick criminal his whole life. He’s the best there is – smart, sly, and so dangerous that he’s called Blade. Many tragedies happen and there are lots of deaths. The ending is quite a surprise.

I loved this book. It kept me interested the whole time! I was hooked because it was so captivating. Blade is a cool, clever, crazy criminal. No one could ever compete with him. If there’s someone to be scared of, it’s him. I really wanted to read this book over and over again. There were so many intriguing surprises! It was really sad at some parts and the ending was … Well, if you want to know the ending, then read it! You’re sure to love it. [moomoomoo222]

This story takes place in North America during the French and Indian War and follows the journey of a scout named Hawkeye and the daughters of General Munro, Cora and Alice. Hawkeye is traveling with a party of two Native Americans, Chingachgook and his son Uncas. They are the last surviving members of the Mohican tribe. Their lives are put in even more danger when Cora and Alice are kidnapped by the deceiving Huron, Magua. It’s now up to Hawkeye and his allies to save the two before it’s too late.

Awesome! Although this book was written over a hundred years ago, it is definitely a book that I couldn’t put down. A few words and phrases made it a bit difficult to understand, but the reader will get used to it. The plot was in such an unusual setting too; it just really interested me. The pictures in the book were so colorful and vivid. It gives the reader a clear picture of the setting. For those who love great adventures and heroes, this book is for you! [Wild Pancake]

A huge blizzard hits a small high school in New England. Scotty, Jason, and Pete are three of the seven kids who decide to stay after school, realizing they will never get picked up. Snow has now piled above the first floor of the high school. Worst yet, they lose power and heat, the pipes in the bathroom freeze, and it’s getting darker and colder by the minute. The seven students adapt for survival, but have to make a fateful decision …

I liked this book a lot! Sometimes I would think about what I would do in this kind of situation. If you look closely at each chapter, the snow in the background gets higher and higher as the book goes on. I thought that was really cool. [MultiTalentedNerd:P]

Katrina Katrell lives with her aunt, Mrs. Krabone. She saw a strange creature and tried to tell her aunt, but just got scolded. The creature was called a zorgle named Morty. Morty and Katrina work together to find the zorgles that escaped from the Zorgmazoo. She meets all different kinds of creatures on the way.

I thought this book was very clever. I liked how the story used different fonts to express the story. I liked reading about all of the different characters and the clever, rhyming word choices. I liked Morty, but I liked Katrina better. [Carebear 443]

There is this kid who is a real slacker and he’s given an assignment to research a disease. At this house they are staying in for the weekend he finds this old medical journal that has some samples in it. He ends up getting infected with a fatal disease.

I could relate to this book well (not the disease) and it was really suspenseful. If I could have, I would have stayed up all night reading it. The book was so awesome!! [ππ]
