I really like this book. It’s amazing how Catherine can be so selfish, and Heathcliff so cruel. Heathcliff ruins the lives of 2 generations with his malignance. It’s a jaw-dropping story that really makes you think. [Heather]
Notes from the Midnight Driver

Alex Gregory did something stupid. One night, when his Mom was out on her first date since she broke up with his Dad, Alex got drunk on some of his Dad’s old vodka he never moved from the house, took his Mom’s car, and went over to his Dad’s house to give him a piece of his mind. But along the way, he crashes.
Soon after the crash he’s arrested and after blowing chunks on police officers a few times, goes to the hospital. Once he gets out, his Mom, Dad, best friend, and society are mad at him. And society makes Alex pay.
A month after the accident, he goes to court and gets his license taken away for two years, and has to do 100 hours of community service at a retirement home. And of course, he gets paired with the grouchiest, meanest, Yiddish speaking old man in the joint, Soloman Lewis. How will Alex survive?
This was a great book with a lot of unexpected twists and turns. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie, as this is its indirect sequel. [John]
