Now that the hole in the house is finished, Phoney and Smiley head back to Barrelhaven while Fone Bone stays with Thorn and Grandma Ben. Thorn and Fone start having weird dreams, but Thorn’s seem to reflect more of her past. Grandma knows something that they don’t. Smiley, Luxius, and Phoney are attacked by rat creatures, and their changes of making it to Barrelhaven are slim. Third in the Bone series. [Jackie]

This was an excellent book. It has the kind of storyline that people pass down from generation to generation. It has extravagant artwork in it. It’s got a lot of action in it, especially since it’s such a small book. When it comes to action, you’re gonna want to check it out.
Beowulf is about the greatest hero of the Geats, going on adventures and slaughtering beasts. When he comes upon a land that is terrorized by a giant beast, he decides to take on the beast bare-handed. Read the rest of this entry »

What would happen if Batman and Robin split up? When the Boy Wonder grows up he strikes out on his own. How Robin creates a new identity is a cool story, but I found the ending a bit jumbled and disappointing. Great action sequences if you love superheroes.
