Ashley and her mother have just moved to a new property after her father died, even though Monkton Mill technically belongs to their elderly neighbor, Miss Cooper, who hates cats. While playing outside, Ash and Kristi discover a garden. Throughout the story, while exploring the garden, they find a white cat and a mysterious doll. Kristi tells her a very scary story. Ashley now believes that the garden is haunted.
I really enjoyed this book. I recommend it to anyone who likes ghost or suspense stories. My favorite character was Ashley because she did the same things I would have done during most of the situations. [X]

So what if you knew the secret to making dead corpses come to life? There’s this guy, Dr. Frankenstein, who knows that secret. So, he’s awfully lonely, and what he basically does is say, “Oh, I’m going to get the parts of corpses and make a human!” Well, that’s exactly what he did, and it wasn’t the best idea. Frankenstein isn’t the best looking guy out there, and Dr. Frankenstein doesn’t want anything to do with him, in fact he sort of hates him. But all Frankenstein wants is love, what’s wrong with that? Well, everyone is afraid of him, and therefore everyone hates him. So (this is a qoute from the book), “If I cannot find love, I will inspire FEAR!” So he’s getting revenge on Dr. Frankenstein for creating him. [Heather]
This book is about a boy who discovered a weird room, and that room had a ghost. The ghost got the little boy’s head and threw it away, and the boy died. At night the boy comes back to life, but he becomes a headless ghost.
From the title you can infer there will be scary creatures from beyond the dead or make-believe. But that’s not all this novel contains. There is stuff from everyday life that’ll make you stop and ponder. Is this true? can it happen to me? Today or tomorrow? Questions and stories that’ll send a chill down your spine are held in this one 210-paged book. Now get ready, hold your breath, don’t freak, and get ready to die.
This is a really great book for people who love to read something creepy. There are many short, scary stories, which are all very good in their own way. I highly recommend this book.
