The Midnight Sun is at it again. This time they’re in a cacao plantation. But where is it? It’s in a zoo. Why a cacao plantation, you may ask? Well, the villain, Señor Hugo, is trying to make a chocolate so rich it will send Cass back to the past to get the secret from her great ancestor, the jester.
I really liked this book, just like all of the others in the Secret series. The plot twists and turns. All of the footnotes add compelling details. Even better the appendix, it shows you even more that the book can’t explain within the plot, such as Max-Ernest’s 100 languages to say hello. Overall, I loved this book.
