This book was great! The author’s point of view and style of writing felt totally different than in Lisa McMann’s other thrill-filled mystery, Cruel Cross. The whole trilogy of the Wake series sounds interesting. I loved how McMann divides each chapter by the dates, rather from first person point of view to its third person point of view. I really loved this book. You won’t have to tell me twice to read the next book in this wonderful series! [Rocky 158]

This is a sequel to Pretty Little Liars. Who is is A? Is A gone – or is he back? The four girls have their suspicions, but A is too clever for even them. A has some big surprises for his girls in this book. I absolutely loved it! It was so good and even more interesting then the first, which is hard to believe since the first book was so great! See, I’m so excited about how good this book is that I’m using exclamation marks for every sentence! I would definitely recommend this book to all. I was never bored, and I just couldn’t stop reading! I will definitely continue to read the rest of the series. [moomoomoo 222]

Well, she just lost hr job, doesn’t have enough money for a dress, and definitely cannot find a date. Then things start to look up! Anne, her BFF, finds them a new modeling job and she meets Zander. Is he a possible future date? Will Quigley get her dress and a dream date to the prom? Or will something or someone ruin it for her?

I really loved this book! It was a realistic story, one that relates to middle school girls. I would definitely recommend this book to read. It’s the perfect mix of realistic fiction, with just the right touch of humor, sadness, and romance [dizdiv]

Ginny, a girl who is starting school, makes all these different kinds of lists for the new school year. She makes a new friend named Becky Soo. She tries to get back together with her old friend, Mary Catherine Kelly, but fails. She tries her best to make her year fun, but it seems just the opposite happens. Her dad is dead, she didn’t get the part in the “Sugarplum Fairy” that she wanted, and she broke her wrist. In fact, she had a pretty rough year even though she kept strong and stayed healthy.

I thought the title was a little strange at first, but when you finish it you’ll finally understand the meaning of the title. It was a bit sad in the middle of the book. I do recommend it. [carebare 443]

Eric sees Griffin helping older people, but then Griffin turns around and steals from them. Eric also notices that Griffin and his friends bully a kid. What does Eric do? Does he just stand by or does he have a way to stop the bullying? This was a good book. It really made me think and it will do the same for you. I suggest you read it! [???]

Now that Nellie has won the crown for queen she’s been acting funny towards Mickey and Jayd. Every time Jayd texts her or tries to call her, she ignores her. Plus she’s hanging out with Jayd’s boyfriend’s ex. So Jayd lets it go, but for just a little bit because she has problems of her own. Jeremy is having secret talks with his ex, Tania, and thinks Jayd doesn’t know about it. Plus Jayd has to deal with Mickey and Nellie’s arguing and fighting. Plus Jayd’s ex-boyfriend wants her back. Rah. Jayd has way too much drama and doesn’t have a way to deal with it.

The scene that I did not like the best is when Mickey and Nellie began fighting. Mickey threw lemonade in Nellie’s face and slapped her down to the ground. Jayd is stuck in the middle of them both and doesn’t know what to do. I think that it shouldn’t have gotten that far, especially since Mickey and Nellie have been friends since kindergarten. Another example, only read books with authors whose name you can pronounce. I really liked this book because I could easily relate to the topic. This is a pretty good book. It just took me a couple of tries to get it started. After I did, it got so interesting. The author blends in Annabel’s stress, anger, love, hate, and loneliness into a very interesting story. [Mo_143]

I loved this book! I clearly understood this character’s feelings. I liked how she described her problems and “solved” them, even the part when she plays those jokes on innocent people. But I didn’t like the part when she “cheats” on Mallory and hurts people other than herself. [Fiddlesticks2000]

This story is about a girl trying to find love. She comes to school one day and notices that not a single boy notices her. So she starts to think about what’s wrong and what she could do to change. She notices this boy that looks like a popular guy who knows a lot of other boys. So she goes up to him to ask him if he could be her coach. He looks at her and says no way, he can’t stand girls. Plus lots of people would come to her and say he makes girls cry.

My favorite character is Haruna. She’s sporty and girly at the same time. She dresses pretty and wears pretty shoes to match. At the same time she plays sports. She plays baseball and enjoys it a lot. She also sets out her free time to look at magazines so she can know more about boys and what she needs to do to improve. [Unicorn123]

It related a little bit to my everyday life and could help me. I felt like this book catches the image of real teenagers’ lives. His long time crush, Hannah Baker, killed herself, but that wasn’t the end of her. She left behind thirteen tapes, reasons why she killed herself. Everyone who contributed to her decision got a tape, explaining how they helped. So when Clay receives the tapes on his doorstep, he is baffled. But the rules of the tapes say you must listen to all of them, so that is what he does. He hears each and every story and visits the places on the map she left as he tries to figure out what he did. He wanted to be someone Hannah could trust with her problems, not be a problem himself. By the time he reaches his own tape he despises pretty much everyone else, and he isn’t sure if he will be any different. He didn’t do anything, right? Maybe that was the worst thing he could have done.

I loved this book even more than usual! Although it was sad, it seemed like it could happen to anybody. I didn’t particularly like any characters, because they all helped end Hannah’s life in one way or another, but I didn’t like Clay the least. My favorite scene was when Clay listened to this tape, because it was very bittersweet. Boys and girls would like this book, and it was VERY suspenseful! It reminded me of the song “How to Save a Life” by The Fray. [trh99]

This story is mainly about Lena who just moved to Gaitlin. She is a caster (like a witch, but she thinks it’s a stereotype). She and Ethan are trying to figure out why they have a “special” bond. I LOVED THIS BOOK! The story is addicting and will keep you glued to each page. I loved how the author made Lena so different, like an individual. The book mostly applies to girls who aren’t afraid to be themselves. It’s a perfect mix of mystery and suspense and drama. [Mo_143]

There is a group of four girls who are a clique. They’re not friends with anyone else. Claire, a new girl, is renting a house from Massie’s family. For some reason Massie has something against Claire. Her friends are willing to do anything they can to show how much they don’t like her.

This book is really good. Whether someone has faced being the new girl, is in a clique herself or is just a regular school girl, the content is definitely something that girls can relate to. This book kept me interested because I never knew what would happen next. My favorite character was Claire because she was not rude like the others. She was not part of the mean clique. This author definitely made me want to read the rest of the series. [X]

I absolutely loved it! This second Clique book is way better than the first one. The dramatic events kept my eyes locked on the paper all the time! I was surprised that the girl went into labor two months early. I didn’t expect it at all. The readers that would like this book have to like drama – there is plenty of it! If you don’t like drama, don’t bother to read it. [Fuzzy Puppy]
