The Fire Within

Twenty-year-old David Rain has just become a Elizabeth Pennykettle’s (and her 11-year-old daughter’s) new tenant. But not everything is exactly as it seems in the Pennykettle household. They have a cat. That’s not very strange, is it? What’s really strange about the Pennykettles are the DRAGONS. Tons of them, everywhere. Sometimes they seem to flit around by themselves. But is that just David’s imagination, or is it real???

This is the first book of one my favorite series of all times: The Last Dragon Chronicles. My favorite character is probably Gadzooks throughout the entire series (and all the other dragons, but you don’t really find out much about them until the second book, I think), but I won’t say why, because that would ruin it. In this book, though, I’d say my favorite character would probably be Lucy, always on an adventure to save a squirrel, dragging David along.  [pinktlrb]

Fire Star

David Rain saves the girl he lives with from her evil abductor, who is her aunt.  That was not their only enemy though. A group called the IX is after David Rain. I thought it was a great book! The book was exciting, adventurous, funny, and mysterious altogether. This book was also sad because you could feel the people and how they felt. If the author had added more, I would have loved it even more!  Book 3 of The Last Dragon Chronicles.  [Gerrard 102]

The Fire Eternal

David Rain, who mysteriously disappears, comes back from another dimension after five years to his wife and daughter that he never met. He once again has to save the world from Aunt Gwillina and the IX.

I thought this book was amazing. I never thought David would come back, and he does. This was a suspenseful, amazing and great book! It also had a little humor. Add a little more humor and it would be the best book in the world. This book is so unique, I loved it. Book 4 of The Last Dragon series.  [Gerrard 102]

In this book a man named David is in a house full of clay dragons.  He is a tenant.  The girl who lives in the house gets abducted and taken to raise a dragon.  I thought it was great.  There was good writing, great plot, and the suspense was killing.  There were some great jokes but it was more to grab you and make you never stop reading.  If they added more it would be great.  This is an awesome, unique story.  Book 2 of The Last Dragon Chronicles.
